Employing Youth For Better Health & Stronger Communities

MAPSCorps is a one-of-a-kind community program that trains and employs local high school students to map businesses and organizations on the South Side of Chicago. “Mappers” team up with University of Chicago students, educators and scientists to learn important skills and gain hands-on field experience. They become experts on our community. Best of all, MAPSCorps prepares our youth for future jobs and higher education, especially in the fields of science, technology, engineering, math and health.
